Monday, November 9, 2026 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm Draper Wellness, in partnership with Utah State University Extension, is offering a free 4-session class for parents – Parenting the Love and Logic Way. This course teaches parents how to raise responsible kids and enjoy parenting. Participants will learn how to end power struggles with their children, teach responsibility, and prevent arguments. This course will help participants answer questions like: Is it possible to parent without getting angry? How do I enforce limits? What are natural or logical consequences? Can parenting be less stressful? Data from the 2025 Utah Student Health and Risk Prevention (SHARP) Survey showed that while 80% of youth report having rules for screen time use, only half of youth indicated that their parents enforce those rules consistently. Parents are increasingly reaching out to community services for support with screen use and other challenges. Draper Wellness encourages parents to attend this class. A virtual option and other locations and dates are available on the USU website.
